The theme cannot be dealt with enough: humanity ruthlessly ruins its own environment and thereby destroys itself. It is only a matter of time, but perhaps the process may still be stoppable. But is there enough recognition, knowledge and wisdom in humanity to look beyond daily survival and not only consider tomorrow to be the future, so the surroundings our children will not seem complete only by acquired possessions. These are not just highbrow words, or our questions to be posed mandatorily. It is ridiculous that these ideas are slowly turning into commonplaces, they are considered to be the topics of tabloids, meanwhile in time on a cosmic scale we only have seconds remaining on this tiny planet. But we will watch our destruction sitting on a comfortable couch, through a TV, with the detachment of an outsider.  

Of course, it’s possible that this is how it’s supposed to be. This is just another part of eternal change. The process of purification that occurs from time to time.  

Górecki’s music induces the listener to pose fundamental questions. Doesn’t allow us to rest, to become lazy in the comfort of everyday life. It simultaneously thunders through the universe and sounds in the most human voice. Thus, it creates real drama by tapping into the tension between these two, in which it heralds the justness and love of life, and for us the eternal responsibility of ART in shaping our destiny.

Nem lehet eleget foglalkozni a témával: az emberiség kíméletlenül tönkreteszi saját környezetét, és ezzel elpusztítja saját magát is. Csak idő kérdése, bár a folyamat talán még megállítható lenne. De van-e elég belátás, tudás és bölcsesség az emberiségben, az emberben, hogy túllásson a mindennapok boldogulásán, hogy a jövő ne csak a holnapot jelentse, hogy gyermekeink élettere ne a megszerezhető javaktól tűnjön teljesnek. Ezek nem nagy szavak. Kötelezően felvetendő kérdéseink. Nevetséges, hogy lassan közhelynek tűnik ez a felvetés, a bulvár témái közé sorolódik, miközben kozmikus időszámítás szerint másodperceink vannak hátra ezen a csöpp bolygón. De mi a vesztünket is kényelmes kanapéról, a tévén keresztül, a kívülálló szenvtelenségével fogjuk végignézni.

Persze lehet, hogy így van ez rendjén. Az örök változás része ez is. A megtisztulás folyamata időről időre bekövetkezik.

Gorecki zenéje alapvető létkérdések felvetésére sarkallja a hallgatót. Nem enged nyugodni, nem engedi, hogy ellustuljunk a hétköznapok kényelmében. Egyszerre zengeti meg az univerzumot és szólal meg a legemberibb hangon. Így a kettő közötti feszültségből teremti meg a valódi drámát, melyben az élet igazságát, szeretetét hirdeti, számunkra pedig a MŰVÉSZET örök felelősségét sorsunk alakításában.
